1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. When you use the platform, we store the proposals, contracts, and client information you create. We also collect usage data such as page views, feature usage, and error logs to improve the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Boots AI platform
• Generate proposals and contracts using AI on your behalf
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
• Improve the service and fix issues

We do not sell your personal data or share it with third-party advertisers.

3. AI-Generated Content

Proposals and contracts are generated using third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude). The content you provide (project notes, client details) is sent to the AI provider to generate documents. We do not use your business data to train AI models. Generated content is stored in your account and is accessible only to members of your organization.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS in the US). We use row-level security policies to ensure that each organization can only access its own data. All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and organization data within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication and database
• Vercel — Application hosting
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI content generation
• Stripe — Payment processing (when applicable)

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Access and export your data at any time through the platform
• Update or correct your account information in Settings
• Request deletion of your account and data by contacting us
